Structural analysis & body repair

The foundations of controlled structural repair are learned in the workshop.

Analysis and structural repair are essential in a body shop, yet these fundamentals are often underrepresented in training programs. FCPV puts them back at the heart of practice, directly in your working environment and on your own equipment.

01

Understand the deformation before choosing the straightening action.

02

Measure and verify at every stage instead of correcting blindly.

03

Work in your workshop, with your equipment and constraints.

Decisive fundamentals

Analyse before straightening.

Structural repair is not simply a matter of applying force to the most visible area. The technician must understand the direction of impact, identify direct and indirect deformation, locate reference points and prepare a coherent realignment strategy.

These fundamentals support better decisions about anchoring, force directions and the checks required to make progress without introducing new stress into the structure.

An applied method

From initial analysis to final verification.

Training follows a practical progression linking observation, measurement and the structural repair process.

  1. 01

    Analyse the deformation

Read the direction of impact, material displacement and visible or transferred deformation.

  2. 02

    Measure the structure

Compare reference points and establish an accurate baseline before any correction.

  3. 03

    Position and anchor

Set up the vehicle correctly and choose anchoring suited to the forces to be applied.

  4. 04

    Straighten and verify

Correct progressively, measure again and validate the restored geometry.

In your workshop

Your equipment, vehicles and methods.

FCPV currently works with Celette, Spanesi and Car-O-Liner systems. Support adapts to the available equipment, the workshop configuration and the types of repair carried out by your teams.

The brands are cited to identify the equipment on which FCPV can currently build the intervention.

Close to the practical work

Develop the team within its own working environment.

Exercises and practical situations can use your equipment and workshop cases, immediately connecting the method to the team’s daily practices.
